Advanced alerts system



It's very important for Trader do not miss different signals from his indicators system. For this reason XTick has a very powerful charting system. There are five types of alerts:
  • Price Alerts
  • Time alerts
  • Indicators Alerts
  • Pointer Tools Alerts
  • XPaint alerts
For each alert you can assign individual action. You can enable popup windows to notify, play the sound or send the EMail notification.

Price alerts

It's a simple type of alerts allows to detect when price riches any price level. For example, if you need notification when EURUSD will rise to 1.2850 value create the Price alert. To create it open the Alerts window (you can see and manage all alerts inside it), press Right mouse button over the window and select 'Add new price alert' item from context menu.



Fill in EURUSD into Symbol's name field (or select EURUSD from the list), select the condition 'Above' and enter the level 1.2850. Next assign the action for this alert as you need and press OK.

Time alerts

To avoid missing the important news you can setup Time alert. Press Right mouse button over the Alerts window and select 'Add new time alert' item from the context menu.



Setup the time you need and setup repetition if you need. You can repeat the signal once a day, once a week and once a month.

Indicators Alerts

This type of alerts needs to detect when any indicator riches some value or crosses the price bars. To add this alert press Right mouse button over any indicator in chart and select 'Set Alert' menu item from context menu.
Setup indicator's condition, for example you can use crossing some value with indicator or crossing indicator's value with price.



Also you can add Indicator's alert via Indicator's settings dialog. Press on 'Alerts' tab and add new alert or manage your existing alerts.

Tools Alerts

With Tools alerts you can detect when the price cross some Tools levels. For example it can be used to see when price crosses the Trendline or Channel's line. To add this indicator simple press Right mouse button over the pointer tool (for example over the Trendline) and select 'Set Alert' from context menu.
Select the condition and select the line of Tool to check the condition.



Also you can add Tool alert via Tool's settings dialog. Click on 'Alerts' tab to add new alerts.

XPaint Alerts

XPaint technology allows to create any custom conditions for different indicators and also you can add alerts to rhese conditions. In XPaint settings dialog click on 'Alerts' tab and add new alerts to your custom condition.
You can see all existing alerts and manage them in Alerts window. Press Right mouse button over any alert and select 'Modify' item to change alert's settings or 'Delete' item to to remove this alert. You can easily enable or disable any alert by double click over it.
The comment field of any alert you will see in Notification dialog if alert executed. Also the comment will sent via EMail if you enabled EMail feature in alert's action.
All these features are available in XTick Extreme for Windows. Some later we will add the same features into XTick Extreme for Mac OS.
