Futures and Stocks Charts and Technical Analysis



XTick Extreme has some special features to make advanced technical analysis of stocks and futures markets, like NYSE, CME, Deutsche Boerse and others.
XTick Extreme supports futures continuation charts and also it has some indicators to see different Buy and Sell volumes in real-time. There are:

Futures Continuation Charts



As a rule daily futures charts have a short history and there are some difficult to make technical analysis of these charts. XTick Extreme allows to see futures continuation charts, these are the same bases futures with different expiration time displayed in one chart. There are four different modes to get continuation charts:
  • Simple - Standard-rollover at expiration displays a chart for the lead month contract through expiration and then displays the chart for the next available contract month
  • Adjusted - XTick adds the difference between the old lead month and the new lead month to the historical data
  • Active - rollover with trading activity. The most active contract is determined by using tick volume, the tick volume must be in 1.5 times above then tick volume of the previous contract.
  • Active Adjusted - the same as 'Active', but XTick adds the difference between the old lead month and the new lead month to the historical data

PitVolume displays buy and sell volumes separately. Buy volume painted with Green color and sell volume is red color.

Another useful indicators for stock market analysis is PitVolume Divergence (Market Delta). It displays the difference between Buy and Sell volumes.

PitTickVolume the similar to PitVolume, however it displays not real, but tick buy and sell volumes separately.

PitBars displays separate buy and sell volumes with different colors and bars' width are depends from total volume. As you see all stock information is available in this type of charts.

Time & Sales windows

And another great feature for stock markets is Time & Sales window. You can open as many windows as you need and adjust them to diaplay information for selected stock. This window display Bay and Sell trades separately with different colors. Also you can enable volume filtering to cut trades with small volumes.
All these features are available in XTick Extreme for Windows. Some later we will add the same features into XTick Extreme for Mac OS.
